A Hawk And A Hacksaw

Inspired by folk music traditions which transcended both borders and language, Jeremy Barnes (Neutral Milk Hotel) formed A Hawk And A Hacksaw in 2002. The project truly blossomed when he met his partner in music and life, Heather Trost, in 2004. The couple went on to make 7 albums in which they explored their ardour for music from Northern Romania through the Balkans to Turkey.

A Hawk And A Hacksaw return with a new studio album, 'Volume 8' which will be released on the 5th February 2027 via Rocket Recordings
