Frequently asked questions

How GigRider works, in short.

What is GigRider?

GigRider is a listings site for live events across the UK: concerts, theatre, comedy, festivals, sport and family days out. Browse by city, category or date and see every date of an event on one page.

Does GigRider sell tickets?

No. GigRider is not a ticket seller. Every date links to an official seller, where you choose your seats and pay. Questions about an order go to the seller you bought from.

Do you add booking fees?

No. GigRider adds nothing to the ticket price. Some ticket links are affiliate links: the seller may pay us a small commission when you buy, at no extra cost to you.

Is the price shown the final price?

"From" is the lowest price we know for that date. The final price depends on the ticket type, the seat and the seller's fees, so check it on the seller's page before you pay.

What do "Coming soon", "On sale", "Sold out" and "Cancelled" mean?

Coming soon: tickets are not on sale yet. On sale 12 Dec: general sale opens on that date. Sold out: the seller has no tickets left at the moment; returns sometimes appear later. Cancelled: the organiser has cancelled the date.

An event was cancelled or postponed. How do I get a refund?

Refunds and exchanges are handled by the seller you bought from and the event organiser. Check your order confirmation email or the seller's help pages.

How up to date are the listings?

We update the listings every day. Dates, prices and availability can change at any time, so the seller's page always has the latest information.

How do I find events near me?

The home page shows your nearest city when we can tell it from your approximate location. You can also pick a city from the menu or the list of cities, then filter by category or by today, tomorrow and this weekend.

Why does one event have dates in several cities?

A touring show is one event with all its UK dates, grouped by city, so you can compare dates and venues in one place. All of them are on Touring shows.

Where can I see an artist's whole tour?

Tours lists concert tours with UK dates. For the complete world tour, with dates across Europe and beyond, see ConcertRider.com.

How do I save events?

Tap the heart on any event and it appears in My Events. The list is kept in your browser: no account is needed, but it does not move to your other devices.

I can't find an event. Why?

Try search by artist, event or venue. If it is still missing, tickets may not be on sale yet or the event has already taken place.

I'm an organiser or I found a mistake. How do I reach you?
