About:
Joe Boyle's Union present "Welcome to the New World", the debut album from British Double Bassist Joe Boyle. The record consists of 7 highly original compositions which showcase his writing, taking influence from traditional jazz to classical music, as well as psychedelic rock and free improvisation. Such diverse styles as theses, as well as South African township and delicate ballads, are blended seamlessly and held together by Boyle's distinctive, powerful and driving double bass playing.
