Sixty years after The Beatles put on their uniforms, the album that changed pop music is played in full on our stage. Released in 1967, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band turned the studio into an instrument, with orchestras, tape loops and Indian sitar woven through songs like 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds', 'With a Little Help from My Friends' and 'A Day in the Life'. It topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic and became the first rock album to win the Grammy for Album of the Year.
Expect the whole album, played from start to finish, from the opening fanfare to that long final chord, alongside a run of other Beatles classics. It's a night for anyone who grew up wearing out the vinyl, and anyone hearing it properly for the first time.
Enjoy a view overlooking the stage from our mezzanine restaurant.
